Sleeping in the crib

I forgot how nerve wracking it is to have the baby sleep in the crib for the first time. During the day I'm fine with him in there. But last night I put him in there for only a couple of hours and I couldn't stand it. To a point I'm ok with it, but at the same time I'm soooo worried he's going to stop breathing or something. You'd think I'd be past this since Connor isn't my first. I guess not! I didn't put Caiden in his crib until he was about 2 months old. Connor is just over 2 weeks. Do you think I should wait? I'm so paranoid that something is going to happen in his crib? How is everyone else doing it? Thanks!

I'm also wondering about this. DS is still in the bassinet, and he's 4 weeks. I'm wondering when I should make the transition.

I never really understood the difference between having in the crib or not... God forbid something happened, why would it happen in the crib as opposed to the bassinet? I started DD in cradle but she didn't like it and I didn't like hearing every noise...moved her to crib around 2 or 3 weeks and it was much better.

I had DS is his crib from the first night and he was fine. At that age they can't rollover so they basically stay in the same spot. Your monitor or video monitor should give you piece of mind.

DS is 9 weeks old _ just started having him nap in the crib
