Sleeping beauty...nevermind - she's up

"Never wake a sleeping baby" has been our mantra after one very difficult day many weeks ago when we woke her up from a nap before she was ready.

DD slept 10 hours last night, woke up at 8:30 am.
Napped 10:30 to 1:30.
Has been napping since 4:30...should I try to wake her?

She is EBF and we've had 4 good feedings today, usually by now it's been 5 so I'm not too worried about that.

No fever and I think she may be in a growth spurt, her legs and cheeks got all chubby again a few days ago and last time that happened she sprouted like a weed in length.

I guess I should let a sleeping baby lie right?

ETA she just woke up.

Re: Sleeping beauty...should I wake her?

i was trying to decide the same thing... but different circumstances. We took her for 4m ck up, i worked today so she hasnt really napped, and was crying hysterically at doctors... Now shes passed out and thinking my best bet is to let her sleep. Even tho she does need to eat and needs a bath.. guess i could give her bath in am.

I think you should let her sleep BUT I also think that you should lay down in case she is up tonight.

Let her sleep-she obviously needs it. My mom always said never wake a sleeping baby and she was right! She is probably going through a growth spurt.
