Sleep sack for 8mth old???

Wouldnt this just drive them nuts as they want to sit up, stand up etc at night?

I really want to get one of these for my DD as I used one when she was younger but she moves so much at night, she wakes, sits up, gets on her knees and then stands up...wouldnt she trip herself if she had one of these on?

Any thoughts?

I thought the same thing, but about 2 weeks ago we got Noah a sleepsack and its fantastic! He can stand up, sit up no problems! I was worried about the same thing, but his room is the coldest in the house and he is all toasty warm in the am.

I still put my almost 19 month old in a sleep sack occassionally. She can still stand in it, theres a ton of room.

Great, thanks for the replies...I dont think DD needs one more bump to the head so that is why I was nervous...but I am going to get her one today.

Bella HATED The sleepsack, we tried to transition her from the swaddle (she was a late swaddler) to that and we had an awful night and I couldn't figure out why...took off the sleepsack and she slept like a rock...

some kids love it, some not so much.
