Sleep issue - what happened to my sleeping baby?

DD is 9 weeks old and typically always sleeps from about 10pm to 3:30 am, then goes back down after eating or sleeps till 5 am and goes back down after eating. The last 2 nights, conveniently when mommy has the worst cold ever, she has been waking up squirming every single hour. I haven't gotten any sleep. What is going on?Chat Icon Chat Icon

There must be something about the weather...Molly has done the same thing for the last 2 nights and she was just starting to sleep from 8-7.Chat Icon

Everytime I increase the ounces if god forbid she spits up, DH says I'm feeding her too much. After she at this morning when I finally took her out at 3 am, I thought for sure she'd fall back asleep - but was still fidgety. I don't get it. She finally took a nap from 5 to 7 and then was squirmy wormy again. She was kicking around in there, just very restless and when I pick her up she was wide awake and happy.

Have you tried just giving her a pacifier and talking to her when she's restless and not picking her up unless its time to eat?

I've been going through the same thing for the past week. Charlie has been up every 2 to 3 hours every night. I can't get him to take more than a couple of ounces before he falls back to sleep. I am so tired I can't see straight!

Same here!!! Giada used to sleep through the night for at least 5 hours, now she wakes up every 3 hours for a feeding and then at 3 am she is up till 6 am, and wants that binky! she spits it out and cries for it, I am jumping out of bed every 15 seconds for 3 hours, I get delirious. She has been doing this now for the past 3 days, Chat Icon

Woah there must be something in the air. The last few nights Christopher has been getting up at 4:15 and mommy is exhausted at work all day Chat Icon He won't totally wake up but it is broken sleep until I get up for work. And there is daddy out like a light! Chat Icon
