Skinny on Whole Foods in Lake Grove?
Their website now says opening in Spring 2010. 
The building outside and facade are done, I thought it would be faster than that! I'm trying to be patient.
No chance this will happen faster than next year, is there? Someone here had inside information I thought...

Nothing happens quickly in Crookhaven.
Lake Grove is considered its own Village and has their own zoning/permits/planning office. They're not under the auspices of Brookhaven.

interesting, I had heard from pals in Setauket that it was Brookhaven holding up the process with all their paperwork requirements and permits
WF better who the economy is better by the time they open or they'll be DOA
