Shrieking---need advice please!!!
My son is 13 months and has started to shriek. He really only does it now when he wakes up in the middle of the night, and like right now, when I try to put him down for a nap by himself. It is TERRIBLE. I can deal with crying, but this shrieking is OUT OF CONTROL. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in a high, high pitched voice. Any advice?

my kid is sooooo squeaky!! we always say he's speaking dolphin.
now that he's older, I just tell him to sing a new song

 Jacob is 19 months and he shrieks and then laughs hysterically

Charlie went through fazes like that. Eventually, he just stopped. It was really fun when we were on a plane

Did you just ignore him when he did it? Im sure the plane was fun...we are going away next weds...i hope he doesnt start to do it during the day
