shower dresses - question for those who already bought theirs
Did you buy a maternity dress or did you get a regular non-maternity dress in a stretchy material or larger size??
I'm not in love with many maternity dresses but I'm afraid by 30 weeks I wont fit in non-maternity dresses.
And can you post a pic of the dress you go and where you got it from?

i just bought my non maternity dress and ill be 36 weeks at my shower in two weeks and i got a cute tunic dress from abs at annie sez. they had alot of dresses that i could wear to my shower. i would look at some regluar styles first because i didnt find anything maternity that i liked. and didnt make me look bigger then i already am. good luck

i really don't want to do a dress for the shower... there will be a lot of opening of LARGER boxes...and in a dress - there's really no way to do that gracefully....
i'm also NOT very comfy in dresses...so there's that!
just something to think about sweety!

Olian is the only maternity brand I have bought that I loved.. This is from Nordstrom..

Mine is maternity - - - -can't do the larger size thing anymore- - - I went to the Motherhood store and found a great deal!!!

Just a warning earlier in my pregnancy I bought a bunch of regular dresses in a bigger size. I put one on yesterday (35 weeks) & it did not look right at all! My maternity dresses still look fine though.

I don't think i would be caught dead in a dress right now, much less in another month and a half. My ankles(and the rest of my legs) are swollen to over twice their size....
