Re: Should I not be lifting my 45lb. preschooler?

I have a 32 pound toddler and I pick him up, throw him around without even thinking about it. Maybe I should stop to think about it, but I figure sometimes we have no choice. (I am constantly getting yelled at by everyone that I am doing things I shouldn't be)

You could always call your OB and see what they say! Chat Icon

DS is 36lbs and I pick him up all the time. I've also been kicked during a few tantrums too. Chat Icon I would guess we should try not to carry them too often, but that's sometimes pretty difficult to avoid. I just do whatevr I feel physically comfortable with.
