Should I bring Stroller? And Other NYC question....
We are going to the city tommorow morning and spending the night and Monday as Noahs Birthday Gift in lieu of a party...
Should I bring the stroller? It will be a pain to lug if he doesnt use it ( its an umbrella one though), but what if we go to Central park and or walk places, I would hate to see him try to walk all that much?
Opinions?
And we are going to Mars2112 for dinner, but are their any other fun kid places besides Mcdonalds  to eat?

don't know about kid places, but YES to the stroller, NYC is a walking city

I'd definitely bring it. You'll cover a lot more ground and if you are in a crowded area, it will be easier to know he's strapped in.

Yes to a stroller, BTW 
Mars 2112 is a lot of fun, once! The food isn't great but it is a lot of fun for the little ones. If he has no fear, you might want to try Jeckle and Hydes too. It can be a little scary but it has a really fun theme

No Babies , just us... YEah I have been to Mars before, not too great, but he will like it.
eta- Looked up Jekyll and Hyde....I think he might get scared.

Definitely bring the stroller.
The Upper West Side is awesome for Kids...In Central park they have the Victorian Gardens right now in Wolman rink. In terms of dinner any family style type place would work for kids...like Carmine's. They also have a Dave and buster's in Times Square.

Definitely bring the stroller. We hang so much crap on the stroller. It's like our shopping cart.
You may want to check out Columbus Circle and eat at Time Warner. There are a bunch of restaurants and they have a Whole Foods at the bottom. We like to go there. On the way there, there are also a bunch of restaurants bordering Central Park.
Times Square also has tons of chain restaurants as well as theme restaurants.
Make sure to check out toys r us in times square and fao shwarz at 59th and 5th.

It's just regular diner food-but hey you can't go wrong with diner food-and the waitstaff sinces and puts on little shows throughout your meal! Its really cute!

Yes - bring the stoller especially if he gets hot and wants to relax. We took the girls in to the seaport for dinner a few weeks ago and they just loved seeing the boats and being off the water. Maybe Noah would like that?

The Central Park Zoo is wonderful...
Personally, I'd skip Mars and just find some place fun and not as themey like Chevy's or something

I would definitely bring it. We went to Central Park Zoo a few weeks ago and parked near third avenue and didn't bring a stroller. By the end of the day Elizabeth was EXHAUSTED. She was a trooper, but a stroller would definitely have been handy!

We just went to NYC and Central Park zoo on Wednesday with DS.
I brought my big jogging stroller.
Pros:
We walked for 5 hours.
Took F train from Penn (had to walk to connection)
up to 57th street then walked to zoo.
Trust me.... it was a workout!
Cons:
Finding elevators
We went a few stairs on 57th to get out of the subway. My back is still mad at me.
On the way back from the zoo to go to Penn, we took the F train at 63th. They have handicap access elevator.
You might have to walk on the other side of a station to get to the elevator.
You might have to use the "emergency" exit to get out of the subway and you will need to tell one of the booth attendant to go through that same exit to get in the subway.
In the end, there was no way we could have gone without a stroller. Way too much walking! And the subway is not that stroller friendly. Unless you know where all the elevators are.
We had gotten a map of the subway from one of the LIRR tickey counter at our train station. It shows all the handicap stop on the subway lines.
