She is such a little devil!
We were all home sick today (while I, not hubby, I watched Alex). So, I was cleaning up around the house a little while she played by herself (rare moment that I took advantage of). She comes out of the foyer, into the living room, where I am, giggling and looking VERY mischievous. I ask her, what did you do Alex? She just keeps giggling.
Two seconds later, I hear scratching on one of the closet doors. Alex LOOOOOOOVES to play with Sparky, our little 11-year old Chihuahua (though, I'm not too sure he's quite as fond of playing with her  ). Turns out, she ran into the closet, he ran after her, she ran out, and turned around and closed the door, locking him in the closet! AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT AS SHE WALKED AWAY!!!

Well, the funny thing is, while Sparky takes her abuse (she is, after all, his meal ticket ), we also have a cat, Puddles, who is quite possibly the single most evil cat on the planet (she even hisses at ME, and I adopted her about 7 years ago! ) Alex tried some of her antics with little miss puddles, and little miss puddles responded in kind with one fiersome HISS.
So, now, when the cat walks by, Alex points, says "cat", keeps her distance, and blows a kiss from afar. The cat taught that little devil where her place is in our house!
