Ugh, that's so sick and sad Unfortunately this has happened before, I've seen stories about it several times. One that sticks in my mind is someone that be-friended a PG woman from a parenting message board.

It is really scary !
She should be charged fore murdering them both ! I am almost positive I have heard of a story where a man shot a woman ,they did a C-sec to save the baby but the baby didn't make it ,and the man was charged with two counts  I will go look to see if I can find it !

This was from march ..they are charging it as a homicide b/c she was in her 5th month ! Maybe different state..different laws?
An unborn child died Thursday afternoon after the pregnant woman and a man were shot while leaving a shopping complex on Baseline Road and 51st Avenue in Phoenix.
The victims were traveling in a white SUV near a Starbucks Coffee and Cold Stone Creamery about 12:30 p.m. when the shooter approached the vehicle, fired into it and fled, said Sgt. Tommy Thompson, a Phoenix police spokesman.
Police were unsure whether he approached the SUV on foot or in another vehicle, Thompson said.
The 31-year-old man inside the SUV had multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen and arm. Injuries to the woman, 26, were not disclosed by police. However, both victims' injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, Thompson said.
He said investigators are treating the case as a homicide due to the death of the unborn child. The mother was five months pregnant.

yeap that last part is the most disturbing...the killer told people she was pregnant the entire time so she was premeditating this murder all along.  she needs to be thrown in jail forever!

I saw on Oprah that women do this. They look on baby registries to find out where the pregnant mothers-to-be are. So sad.

I hate hearing about these types of things but now that I have a DC of my own I find it even more upsetting because I cannot even imagine something ever happening to my DD. People are so sick and demented. That poor woman and baby..........he/she never even had a chance in life. That is so very sad.
