Sept moms-to-be.... It's our month!!!
I can't believe this!!! our month is at the top of the expecting list....
It's starting to all get very real now... DH and I are spening a good deal of the weekend prepping the home (opening packaging, cleaning, organizing)....
Right now I'm waiting for the dishwasher to be finished so we can re-load it with baby stuff for the first time!
Later today, the carseat bases are being installed....
very soon, we'll all be disappearing one by one and going to L&D  (pregnant woman fainting emote-icon  )
surreal, huh?

Oh yeah! We just packed our overnight bag and I just finished washing all of DD's clothes.

I'm SO excited.........I cannot believe that we are all in the home stretch. We're running around finishing last minute projects around the house and getting things ready. We just got new living room furniture, we put in all new closet organizers, installed the baby seat, set up all the other baby stuff..........it's so fun!!! I can't believe in a few short weeks we'll have the baby home in the house with us. Now that Sept. is here it sure feels like time flew by. It seems like just yesterday we all got our BFP's!!!!!

I was thinking that I might end up being an August Mommy, but here we are. I just can't believe how fast the last 9(10) months have gone by!!! We our BFP on New Years Eve and it has been a whirlwind since then! We are truely blessed to be welcoming this tiny little life and we can't wait to share him with the world.

This is me pretty much exactly!!!!!
With the few days that I have you would think I would make use of them!!! I feel so lazy and overwhelmed. Thankfully DH has been great but I feel so bad.

I'm excited..and anxious...I've cleaned all the baby's clothes..still haven't had my shower yet...so I will have a lot more stuff to put together...I'm just happy that she is coming..can't wait to finally meet her..

I have 11 days to go.
I am a big, fat, emotional train wreck. I have zero patience and my poor 4 year old DD will probably be scarred for life from me being sooo cranky!!!!
To add to that, my Dh is suppossed to go away on business from Sept 5th-9th. My c-section date is scheduled for the 12th. Now, I am freaking that I may go early and he will be half way across the country..
As far as all baby stuff is concerned, I have had pretty much everything done since the beginning of July. I have even been driving around with the infant car seat in the car for about a month, so that DD would get used to it.
Can't wait to meet you Baby Brody!!

oh boy.. the business trip situation is rough  Sigh... I hate how careers these days can't take a back seat even at important moments like this. We have similar situations with DH and I and deadlines 2 weeks after Scone's due date  . I hope little Brody is patient and doesn't try to make an early exit!
we've been driving with the carseat in our car since july too! except it was sliding around face-forwards (instead of rear-facing and strapped down). I wonder how many parents peeked in my car during that time and stared in horror
