Im bad, we still dont have a schedule. She just started sleeping through the night Chat Icon 3rd time in a row today!Chat Icon

Plus my peds doesnt want to start cereal until i think 5months. Right now i give bottle when she gets up she eats about 6-8ozs. and then about every 3 hours after that she gets the same. Im hoping once the cereal starts we will start a schedule.

Because Michael is chunk, I only give him rice cereal (started oatmeal yesterday) once a day, usually in the evening. I will start bananas when he is 5 months (in 2 weeks)...I'm afraid he is going to like them too much LOL.

This is what our feeding schedule looks like now:

Wake-up feeding (around 6-7am) I nurse.
11am - 8 oz. bottle
3-4pm - 8 oz. bottle
6:30-7pm - cereal
8-9pm - 8 oz. bottle

Michaels sleeps through the night and rarely wakes-up in the middle of the night. But when he does, I nurse.

We're not on a definite schedule yet. I'm still looking at 'patterns;' in his wake/sleep cycles .. but this is basic

9:00 am 6 oz Formula
10:00 am 3 oz Formula & 2 tbs cereal
1:30 pm 6 oz Formula
5:00 pm 6 oz Formula & 2 tbs cereal
7:30 4 oz Formula
9:30 pm 3-4 oz Formula

Re: Sept 07 Moms can you share your feeding schedule please

We just started cereal on Saturday and DD is not loving it at all!

So our day usually looks like this:

7:30 8 oz. bottle

11:15 2 T cereal (she never eats it all) and then the remainder of a 6 oz. bottle

2:45-3:00 ish another 6 oz. bottle

6-6:30 another 6 oz. bottle

9:30 8 oz. bottle and bed by 10

I may try adding cereal to the 6:00 bottle to try to get her to eat more. She seems to not enjoy the cereal.

She eats anywhere from 30-35 oz. a day.

6:30-7 3 tbsp cereal 7.oz bottle
10:30 6.5 oz bottle
2 6.5 oz bottle
5:30 more cereal and remainder of a bottle.

7:30-8 6.5 ozbottle and goto bed

The ped told us to give the cereal 2x a day, so I have been trying to squeeze in the 5:30 feeding so that he doesn't eat right before he falls asleep. Is that necessary? Is it ok to eat right before sleeping?

Re: Sept 07 Moms can you share your feeding schedule please

We have this schedule:

8am - breast feeding
11:30am - fruit mixed with cereal (usually rice but sometimes oatmeal)
3p- breast feeding
5pm - breast feeding (sometimes he skips this one)
7:30pm - veggie mixed with oatmeal or barley
10pm - breast feeding

I know it sound s like I am nursing alot but he only drinks for 10-15 minutes. And I dont measure the cereal or fruit/veggies, I just eyeball it. I have those small gerber bowls and the bowl is usually almost full and he eats it all.

Re: Sept 07 Moms can you share your feeding schedule please

Okay, I revamped my schedule...

7:30 8 oz. bottle
10:30 1 T oatmeal
11:30 remainder of 6 oz. bottle used to make cereal
2:30 6 oz. bottle or 8 oz. depending on how hungry see seems
5:00 1-2 T cereal
6:30 6 oz. bottle
9:30 8 oz. bottle

Don't ask me what will happen in 2 weeks when I add fruit and veggies! UGH
