seperation class- week 2

this is our second week of seperation class. first week went great. i left olivia for the art/craft play part and then for the gym portion. it was 1 1/2 hours in total. she did great. i get in the car and she told me she cried. i asked the teacher the next day and she said olivia was fine. this week i drop her off and she was very attached. i snuck out when she wasnt looking and they said she cried 5 minutes before i came and when she saw me she started to cry. i got a little emotional too. i know its best right now especially since the baby is coming in 6 weeks. thanks for letting me share.

I'm sure it will get better as the weeks go by. I'll bet it's harder on you than her!

actually i think its harder on her. i enjoy time to myself for the 1 1/2 hours. i shop locally in case the need me to come back. she goes to a gym class with her daddy on saturdays for 45 minutes this gives me mommy time to get my nails done or to do stuff for myself. figure i need to establish this now before the 2nd one comes along- plus she starts 3 day preschool in the fall so its a test.
