Sentimental gift for a college grad...
A friend of mine (A very close dear friend) is graduating nursing school after years of hard work & at the same time struggling with personal family issues. I want to get her something sentimental as a gift. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm clueless.

i don't know if this is sentimental (well it was for me) but my favorite grad gift was a cross pen engraved with me name on it.

i don't know if this is sentimental (well it was for me) but my favorite grad gift was a cross pen engraved with me name on it.
My grandmother gave every grandchild a really good pen for graduation (cross, mont blanc, etc). She died a few years ago so when my younger cousin graduated I thought carrying on the tradition was a good idea. He (and his wife) says he uses it every day and always has it on him. And everytime we have been together I have seen it. It makes me happy that is was a useful gift.
