selling diamond?
is it a bad time to try to sell a diamond? also, where to go? id rather go somewhere on the island than city

I think you might be better off in the city
I am going to be selling mine in a week or so...I heard they are at an all time high- but we'll see
I will let you know what I get for mine - vs what I paid
my friend whose family was in the business is taking care of it for me with a guy that she bought diamonds from- she seems to think my diamond is worth alot more then I know it cost-

I just traded my diamond studs in at Kay jewelers yesterday.
They were 1/3 carat, Dh paid 229 for them in 2000, i got a $750 credit for them.

They were 1/3 carat, Dh paid 229 for them in 2000, i got a $750 credit for them.
I would like to trade in mine for another pair as well...I got these the day after I got my ring...so I don't want them anymore....I might have to go there and see what they say

Only thing with Kay was that you had to use the credit that day and spend double the credit.
So i picked up a pair of BEAUTIFUL 3/4 carat studs for 750 
They also told me that if you don't want something so pricey you can trade in 1 stud then do the other at a later time.
Or they can even set them in something else.

I read last month that diamond prices are actually coming down, but I think gold is still high.
