Scheduling / Time Management

I have been feeling so guilty, I come home from work and put dd in the living room to play with her toys and then I wash the day's bottles, start dinner, feed her, bathe her and then she goes to bed.

I never get to "play and hangout" with her, I feel like $hit ! I

I feel like I put so much before her, BUT she has to eat and so do we. And when I am done with everything, she is sleeping.

Anyone have this problem ?
I try and save laundry for weekends or when DH is home, he works soo much right now, to help pay for daycare ($1,100.00) Chat Icon

Re: Scheduling / Time Management

Right now our schedule looks like this:

6pm - pick up from daycare
6:20 pm - home: get changed
6:30 pm - play with DS
7pm - one person get's bath ready while the other get's DS ready
7:15 - one person gives DS bath while the other unloads daycare bag, puts mail away, takes out something for dinner, prepares night time bottle
7:30 pm - one person takes DS to his room for bed (rocks, feeds and down by 8pm the latest) while the other gets dinner into the oven and cleans bottles from daycare
8 pm - dinner
8:30/8:45 - one person cleans up from dinner while the other gets everything ready for the next day (bottles, clothes)
9 pm - watch a little tv (during commercials we race to wash up for bed and lay out clothes for next day - also fold clothes while watching TV if any)
10 pm - bed

So little time with him but we try to make up for it on the weekends.

I did it for 7 years! i feel like I only spent 2 hours a day with her. I hated it.

But we gotta do what we gotta do!

No exaggeration!!!! I totally believe that is your schedule!
It's hard. Some days are easier than others but it is sooooooo worth it!!!
