Scheduled for c-section tomorrow morning!
Hi Ladies,
Today is my due date. I went to the doctor Friday and my blood pressure was a little high. They also did a sono and said the baby was measuring at 9 pounds 14 oz!  Because of this and some complications I had with my first delivery they suggest I have c/s. We are super excited to meet  but I am nervous about the procedure. Although a lot of people I speak to said it was an easier recovery. I hope that is the case for me too! Good luck everyone!

Good luck!!!! I've heard that c-sections are not terrible if you force yourself to work through the pain the first day you can get up. My friend said it was unbearable, but she healed so much faster because she pushed herself!

Scheduled for c-section tomorrow morning!
I had close to no pain from my section. I was up and moving around right away. My dr made me move due to my clotting issues but I think it helped with overall recovery.
I will not think twice about having it again next time.

lots of luck, my repeat is scheduled for 1/21!
its not that bad, just move as soon as you can and take pain meds if you need! the first few days can be rough but those days fly by

Good luck! I just had a c-section less than 2 weeks ago. The only thing that is making me crazy is the no driving. I'm getting a little cabin fever. I rarely took any pain medicine. I felt more sore than actual pain. My Doctor realized that I wasn't taking pain medicine and she called me crazy. My last day in the hospital I took motrin. The recovery was a lot easier than I was expecting.

Thanks ladies. It is making me feel a lot better hearing everyone else's good experiences. I had a real rough recovery with my first delivery that was natural. So I am hoping this one will be better!
