Sandwiches vs hot food
Shower is going to be a sil house in the backyard from 1 to 4....We were thinking about doing sandwich and salad over hot food.....Do you guys think thats a good idea or would you rather hot food?

I miss coldcuts soooooo bad.......... I love them but dh is not big on the bread in hero's.

just make sure that you have food hat your mama to be can eat.. We did bbq food for ours.. all cooked at thehouse..

Pregnant women are supposed to avoid cold cuts so I would go with hot food.

Sandwiches vs hot food
I was at a shower this weekend and they did sandwiches with a bunch of sides. Some of the sandwiches had roast beef and some we grilled chicken so it was safe

If this is a summer time party, I think the sandwiches are fine.
I'd also have a big green salad and several sides to give an option if someone doesn't want all the bread, is vegetarian, etc.

Actually she the one who likes the cold cuts....Yes we will be making salad and baked ziti and maybe somethign use. Also will prob have fresh veg and dip...It wouldnt be just sandwiches sorry should have said that...

We are doing one hot entree and sandwiches, and salad. My shower is also at a house outside.

when is the shower? If it will be in the heat of summer, do cold sandwiches and salads. In the fall, hot food!

i personally would not mind sandwiches....but my aunt had a party once and had sandwiches and half of my family picked up pizza when they left because they are not sandwich fans. as they all told her...thats more of a superbowl party type food and they expected more since it was an event
but my family can be total pains! if you think your friends/family wont mind then go for sandwiches
