Salon/hairdresser recommendations in Town of Huntington?
I am trying to get my mother to leave her hairdresser who has been cutting our family's hair for more than 25 years. Used to be fine but she's not happy with her cuts any more (they are uneven and she needs a new cut within a week and a half b/c its so uneven), and the price is always different for the exact same thing. My mom's excuse is that she doesn't know of anyone that's good and is afraid to try someplace new, along with insulting the current hairdresser.
My mom has fine textured, wavy hair, it's currently a shorter bob, but could go a little longer. She dyes it at home but finding a salon with a good colorist would be great. My parents are retired so she wouldn't go if it was outrageously expensive. My folks live in Centerport, so practically anywhere in the TOH would be fine.
Any recommendations you've got would be much appreciated!

I've been happy with Cactus (I've been to Npt, Hunt, and DH ones) and Panache on Jericho.

I go to Holly at Avaince on Jericho Turnpike. She is great! I am not sure about color - I've only had highlights and those were good. The only hairdressers at the salon do really good work too.

I use Holly at Aviance too!!! I LOVE HER!!! 
She is very patient and listens carefully to what you say. I have been going for over 2 years now and NEVER left disappointed!!
