Sabrina is sick...and her party is Sunday
Sabrina was complaining last night that her teeth her and she told me she was "sick". I didn't know whether or not to believe my year old but gave her Motrin anyway. Well, she woke up once and I helped her get back to sleep and then she woke up at 5:30AM with a diaper that leaked and wet clothes and while I was changing her I realized she was burning up. She had 104.5 I gave her Motrin and it came down and she was happy and playful. Then it came back up again and we did more Motrin. This afternoon she was really cranky and clingy and everything I did was wrong Then more Motrin and she suddenly got an appetite and ate and drank a decent amount.
I am stuck at work until 9PM and wishing I was home with her to comfort her. I can't stand to see her like this and her birthday party is Sunday and she has been so excited about. I really hope whatever this is clears up by Sunday so she can actually enjoy her own party.

I spoke to DH (I am at work) and the temp is down and she is doing okay. But I just hope it doesn't spike up over night.

I would take her to the doctor tomorrow in case it's an ear infection. That way she can start meds and be better by Sunday

Awww I hope she feels better soon. If she is saying her teeth hurt maybe she has an ear infection - they can cause high fevers. I would take her to the doctor if it is an infection and not viral you could get her on antibiotics ASAP and I bet she would be feeling much better by Sunday.
I hope she makes her bday party!

Just stick with the Tylenol/Motrin every three hours as long as she has a fever. Give her lots of jiuce, even if you don't usually, and two vitamins a day instead of one. You should be able to keep it at bay.
