romantic and relaxing trip at end of January?

Looking for someplace to go for about four days that is within driving distance where we can just go and relax, maybe some fun local stuff to do, spa, etc. ...DH doesn't want to ski though, which is making it hard for me to come up with any ideas and he HATES the Poconos and gambling??? Any suggestions??? I think we may need to get on a plane, LOL!

We had a great time at the Woolverton Inn in Stockton, NJ. It's near New Hope PA. In the area you have the nice cozy inns for dinner in the area, the town of New Hope, Lambertville, Peddler's Village and there are also other local attractions. I would maybe spend 2 days there and maybe 2 days in another small town.

We loved Woolverton. We had a fireplace in our room, a nice porch, absolutely NO one around and great food.

I second this. We loved staying at the Woolverton. We had an excellent time, and the place is SO romantic. The food is EXCELLENT, the breakfast and cookies are great! I highly recommend the Woolverton!

I also recommend Woolverton Inn. We have stayed there twice. We always get the private cottages. They are amazing. Beautiful and romantic. No TVs in room FYI.
Breakfast is great and there are some great places for dinner not too far away. I highly highly recommend Marsha Browns for a very romantic dinner! Food is amazing! We also the we LOVE The Station for dinner too!

We went to the Sergeantsville Inn for dinner and it was FANTASTIC. Loved sitting in this little room in the historic inn by a crackling fire. heaven! I want to go back but DH is being a pain.

The first night we stayed at some random marriott kind nearby and we ate at Blue Sage Grille which is a fully vegetarian restaurant and we really enjoyed that too!

The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA is AMAZING this time of year. The website is here: http://www.redlioninn.com/. You can stay at the main inn or they have these cute bed and breakfasts building in the blocks around it. They are cheaper and DH loved it. There is a communal area and an then you have your own private room/bathroom too.
