Rock of Ages (the movie)
I finally watched it and it was SUPER bad! Totally can't compare to the Broadway show which I loved!

OMG - it was awful!!!! I never saw the play, but I'm sure it would work much better as a play.

I wasnt a huge fan of the play either.Although everyone i know that has seen the play loved it. As for the movie it is absolutely UNWATCHABLE

i watched it the other day... i kept thinking that i should change the channel because it was *that* bad but then kept having to watch to see how much worse it could get.

That was my reaction exactly.....it was SO bad....but I couldn't stop watching because it kept getting worse and worse.

i did this. twice. the first time i watched the 1st 5 minutes, and thought, no - i can't.
tried again, and made it through until tom cruise appeared, and just lost interest.
i was trying to see it as though it was a modern day 'grease'. but at least grease had far more dialogue, and was cutesy. this was...embarrassing.
wonder if the people who grew up in the times 'grease' was portrayed felt similar to this decades later watching it in the then modern day.

I couldn't agree more. I am lad I saw the show first and not the movie.
We rented on pay per view and turned it off after 45 minutes.

I couldn't agree more. I am lad I saw the show first and not the movie.

I'm so glad that i waited for it to be on Demand so it was free... it was that bad!
