Returning to work 7 weeks from today...and nanny search
I am SO grateful that I have 6 months home with my little girl. But as the time winds down I am sinking deeper into a sadness. I was recently promoted at work and am looking forward to my new position, but the thought of not spending every moment with her....aaaand now I'm crying again.
Anyway, since I have been in such denial about going back, we have yet to find a sitter/nanny.
If anyone knows of one looking please FM me. We live in Brooklyn and would need someone 3 days a week from 9am-6pm.

It is hard to go back and I think the thought beforehand makes it worse.
We used the website care.com they do background and reference checks.

I would use care.com, sittercity, craigs list - you should be able to find someone that way.

Try sittercity.com and craigslist. I found mine on Craigslist (its a daycare run from a home) but if you're looking for more of a nanny or someone to come to you and watch DC, sittercity.com might be a better place for you to check.
