Reputable place to sell gold in Nassau or Queens? - UPDATED: do you need an appt to sell your gold?
I have one recommendation for a place in Whitestone, but I don't really have time to shop around and would like to go to a place that will give me a good price for a couple of items. The place in Patchogue is over an hour away from me, so that's far.
Update:
Can you just walk in if you want to sell your gold, or do you need an appointment usually?

Good Old Gold in Massapequa, on Sunrise Highway is supposed to be very good. I sold my gold there a few years ago on the recommendation of a friend who worked in the jewelry industry.

I walked right in. Just make sure the store is open, but at least when I did it, you didn't need to schedule a specific time.

My friend Steve owns a place in East Meadow on Hempstead Tpk. The name is S&D American Gold Buyers. Only work with Steve. He will give you the best price for your stuff. Promise. Tell him Vicki sent you. Also u just walk right in.
