Repost from Pregnancy: SO UPSET
I got asked to sing a role in an opera this summer by a company in NY. I was so excited. I had told the director that my due date was May 5th and rehearsals start June 11th. Welll now she all of a sudden realized my due date and was like I dont know how you are going to do it?? Is it possible??
I was like what you knew when my due date was and everything. She does not have any children. I told her my doctors said I should be ready to sing on the first day of rehearsal. I am just sitting here crying because I just hate feeling like I have some kind of disease. IM PREGNANT!!! She said we will talk more on Tuesday of this week... So I will keep you updated!!

Living with a newborn can be torture. I can't imagine having the energy to rehearse and perform. I barely had the energy to get dressed in the morning when my daughter was a month old!

We were blessed to have a great baby pretty much - it might be tough but this sounds like a great opportunity for you - as long as you have a supportive partner you should be able to do it!!!
