Repost from PG board..If you delivered at Southside Hospital

I'm almost 100% sure that I have to deliver there since my OB goes there 99% of the time, and I wanted to know if over all you had a great experience there.

I looked up their maternity department online and saw that they do breakfast and lunch buffets?? Is that true? And they also mentioned vianeese and ice cream bars? ***??????

I never had any of that, but I also had soooo many visitors, that even if they did it, I wouldnt have known. We didnt have anytime to ourselves from 11-8. So they may have done it, but we werent aware.

Aside from that, I absolutely LOVED southside. I cannot say enough good things about them, especially the nurses in L&D. I can't wait to deliver again, I just loved them so much!

I didn't deliver there but have been there for other surgeries & had good experiences.

I have to say, though, even if I did deliver at a place that had a buffet, etc. I couldn't have taken advantage of it - I had a c-section & since I couldn't pass the gas right away, I was on fluids only for the first 3 days! What a waste that would have been if there was a buffet!
