repost - anyone not get a period after stopping BCP?
From what I can remember, my cycles used to be between 25-31 days.
I just went off BCP this month. My last period (pill period) was on April 14. So far - nothing. I tested on CD29 because I really thought I might be PG, had the typical symptoms. Came up negative. Now its CD31 and still no flow.. I still have bloating and cramps for quite a while now, yet it doesn't feel like it's coming any time soon. Haven't had spotting either, nada.
Has this happened to anyone? I'm a bit nervous, though I'm not even sure how "late" I am since it's my first hormone-free cycle and I have no idea if I even ovulated. Thanks in advance.

It takes awhile for your body to adjust - don't worry just yet!

exact same thing happened to me. i had DS and started the mini pil at 6 weeks post-partum. i got my first AF on 4/1. didn't get AF again until 5/7 even though my cycles used to me 23-25 days.
i would give it another week and test again. don't waste a million HPTs like i did...

my first non-pill period cycle was 35 days. After that my periods stopped altogether. Not saying that is what the norm is, but that was my experience

I had to go on BCP's after having DS because I never stopped bleeding. I took them for 2 cycles and I went of in Jan. I've had 3 cycles since then, all are over 40 days. I'm on cd 34 and am just about to ovulate. So yes, it's happening to me too, although my cycle was wacky before the BCP so I don't know what is causing it!!

Thanks. When you guys had your really long cycles, did you still have PMS symptoms? I have been having them for a while, but again nothing is coming! Just wondering if you felt like you were gonna get it or just felt normal.

this just happened to me too this month... I took a test but it's a no.
I'm so glad for this post because I've been debating about taking a second test just to be sure..
