Renting VFW/KOC/Town of Islip Rec Center
Does anyone have any recommendations and/or prices for these types of rentals in Suffolk?
Anyone been to the Greenbelt Rec Center?
Do these types of places let you bring alcohol?

What type of event are you planning and how many people do you need to fit in. DH is familiar with several of the K of C halls in the area. Do you want a place that will handle the catering or are you just looking for a place to hold an event and you'll provide the food?
I think the Republican Club in Sayville rents out space too.

The ronkonkoma rec center also know as the ronkonkoma pavilion. Its 600 for 4 hours but u get 200 back at the end of the party given the room is clean n such. *so its realy 400 to rent*
You have a hour be4 the party to set up and a 1/2 hour after to clean up. I believe the room holds 100 ppl. You bring in your own food drinks and alchool.

I am looking for just a rental - we will provide food & alcohol. Under 100 people - just a b/d party.

I used this place for my sons 1st bday. I have some pics in an albm on here if you want to see what it looks like. I think it's called Rylans 1st bday.
