renovating the house, just a vent
I am so sick and tired of it already, I just want it to be done and to live in the house.
We closed two months ago and have come a long way, but it still looks like it will be another 6 weeks or so of work.
We put the last coat of finish on the floors yesterday. We bought the kitchen cabinets on sunday and the appliances last week. I know there is an end in sight, its just so exhausting. Every last spare second is doing work on the house, I just want to have a nice relaxing weeked again!!

I know exactly how you feel - as we speak I have my kitchen ripped out with my new appliances sitting in my DR waiting to be installed AND it won't happen for another 2 weeks!
My only advice and what I know keeps me going is thinking about how once everything is done you can just sit back relax and enjoy it!

The pay off in the end will be worth everything when you are done. you know there is an end in site. You guys have done so much and it inspires me.   GL with the work....you are almost there.

It's hard while it's being done but, it will be worth it in the end!
DH painted our cabinets and we replaced a couple of appliances, the floor, the countertops, the sink, knocked down a wall and had an island built. It was frustrating during the process, everything was a mess (we were living there for most of it) and we couldn't use the kitchen. We're at the point now where all we need to do is paint and it was so worth every minute of waiting!!!

I know the feeling!
We started our kitchen remodel in April and just finished the backsplash this weekend. It looks amazing and it was worth the mess!!!!!
Next onto the bathroom, any suggestions on what to do since this is the only bathroom we have in the house?

The floors actually weren't too bad. The biggest issue is that while the finish is drying we can't be in the house doing anything else.
I have pics, (including me using the sander!) I will post them over the weekend when I can show you the finished product!
