Remote starter for cars... anyone have one - not dealer installed?
if so, where did you get yours installed and would you recommend going there?

Jazz Audio, on Middle County Rd in Centereach or Selden. We also had one done at Main St Stereo in Sayville and didnt have any problems at either place.

My FIL had one installed for me last year from Parkway Car Stereos in East Meadow It works great and I haven't had any problems there. His was installed there as well as my BIL's too.

My brother got his done at Movin on Sound in Franklin Square. He was happy with it. I'm begging my DH for this for Christmas this year.

I had mine done there last year, we didn't have any problems and they got it done pretty quickly, in a few hours. DH bought it so I'm not sure what the cost was.

DH has been getting quotes in the $200-$300 range.
Does Circuit City do installations? I never thought of them!

We have one in our truck. We bought it from Target and my dh installed it himself. It came with a video on how to do it, he followed the directions and all for 65.00
