Registry purchase questions
Did anyone buy something off your registry, but it didn't show up as being bought?
Did anyone buy something off your registry, but at a different store?
Apparently, someone who was invited to my shower e-mailed my mom and asked me to remove 4 items from my registry b/c she bought them at a different store than the one where I registered. I registered at BRU mainly b/c it's convenient and it's the only store in CT (where I live) and NY (where most of my family, friend, etc live).
I removed the items, but now I'm slightly concerned that somehow I'll still get duplicates of those items or I'll need to return one or two of them for another reason and won't be able to do that. Has anyone had something similar happen? Was it a good idea to remove the items from my registry?

Don't remove it from the registry completely, just mark it as purchased. There is an option for you to do that.
