Registery Question: What is the one thing you can't

live without?

I'm not ready to register yet, but just wondering for those of you that already have a child(ren) what was the one thing every new mom should have (outside of the regular stroller, car seat, etc), but feel free to include a feature on one of those.

For example, my friend told me yesterday I should get a stroller with a cup holder on the handle.

I am loving the Boppy pillow. I can sit and hold DD for hours and my arm does not get tired....also great for feeding...makes holding her so comfortable.

A wipe warmer, swing, a good sling carrier, and my moses basket were my top 3.

My pack n play for downstairs, my snap n go for the infant seat, boppy pillow for BF'ing, i absolutely love my travel system, I have a graco in mocha.

One more..get the really heavy cloth diapers to use as burp clothes, they are soo absorbent, I use them on my lap and as a burpy.

FYI -- don't buy a stroller based on the cup holder, you can always add one on for a few dollars.

For the first few months I could not live without:
Boppy
Bouncy Seat
Swing
Diaper Champ
Miracle Blanket

Oh you said one... err the boppy then.

Re: Registery Question: What is the one thing you can't

Definately a bouncy seat. As a newborn Jack would sleep in that alot. Also, I LOVE the Ultimate Crib Sheet. It lays on top of a regular crib sheet and attaches to the slats of your crib with snaps. So when baby spits up or has a poop explosion in the middle of the night you just have to take that off and you have a regular clean sheet ready to go! It especially came in handy in the last few months when Jack was so sick throwing up, diarhhea and we had to get up multiple times a night to change sheets.

Ultimate Crib Sheet

Also, definately check out the Temporal lobe thermometer.
