Reflief For Vertigo?
I had fever all last week. Then a sore throat and I woke up Friday with my eyes all bloodshot and puffy and crusty. I went to Urgent Care got antibiotics b/c they said I had a bacteria infection in my throat even tho the quick strep test was negative. Now today I woke up and cant move my head. I am so dizzy. I am a little stuffy but not crazy congested. Is this vertigo? I feel so naseous and cant see straight, the whole room is spinning. Anything I can do? It is so scary, bc I cant control what is happening.

Re: Reflief For Vertigo?
Yes that is Vertigo. DH suffers from it. It seems, in your case, it is being caused by fluid in your inner or middle ear since you were sick.
He takes a bonnine or Dramamine- (same drug, different brand name)
Be warned it will make you drowsy so don't take it if you need to drive or be alert.
It is scary, I know. It will pass, but in the meantime the Dramamine is really the only thing that helps him.

I thought I had Bonnine in the house and of course I dont. Going to see if my DH can get me some later. This is the worst, scariest feeling. I cant even move and when I do move it takes minutes to readjust my brain. Thank you for the advice!
