they are great for a trasition.

Not spill proof though, I think Chat Icon

We use the Munchkin ones. The Nuby ones leaked. They have larger slits in the spout than the Munchkin ones. I think thats why they leak so much.

The munchkin ones were great!! They were the only ones my son would transition to at first. I see good results with the nuby as well

I started using the gerber cup when my children were 6 months old.
I used Platex once they mastered drinking from a sippy. I use the princess and tinkerbell platex for my daughter 18 months old

Playtex straw cups. I literally bought every single sippy cup that is made and of course this was the last one that I tried and the only one DS will drink from.

Re: recommend your sippy cup please! i am getting rid of bottles

around 12months we started to get DD used to being off the bottle. She hated the sippy with milk. So we used the take and toss cup and poked a hole through the sippy lid and put a straw in...she still gets milk with a take and toss cup and a straw she was off bottles by 12.5 months Chat Icon Chat Icon

nuby sippy cups. I started DS at 6 months though and it was a really easy transition for him with these.
