recommend you SMALL play kitchen
title says it all- DD is 2.5, we are in an apt, never got her a play kitchen- but she keeps askign for one (they have one at preschool), so i am looking for a SMALL one- i prefer wood, but will take plastic.

i am not sure what brand it is but it is grow with me, my girls love it!! We got it at Toys R Us it is Purple and WHite

I agree with the above poster. The Fisher Price Grow with Me kitchen is great. My DC love it. We also have a small Step-2 one we got as a gift. They bought it from BJ's. It's taller than then the Grow with Me but not wider.

The Step 2 one is "nicer" looking. It has all kinds of sound effects with a microwave, oven, stove top and little refidgerator. But honestly they play with them both alot. We have one up stairs and one downstairs.
The only real difference is the FP Grow with me collapes for a younger (shorter) child. With your DC being 2.5 I don't think you need that feature. They are comprable in price. Here are the 2 we have.
