I will get the moving company that my friend just used - she raved about them - and they came in about $200.00 less than what they quoted her.
I was there for the move also - and they were no joke!

I just called her and the moving company was Allied. What they will do is come and estimate all the items that you are taking with you - and they price it out. They then figure out the hours that it will approximately take.

Leonetti Brothers in Oceanside. I got the recommendation from someone on this site! They were terrific!!!! They charged me a flat fee of $475 (though I didn't have tons to move -- I was coming from a 1-bed apartment.)

We just used Flat Rate.. I highly recommend them too. They were quick and efficient. We were able to negotiate from the original offer, and they came in to do an estimate and guaranteed the price.

I second Leonetti Brothers - used them three times last year (dont ask!) and each time was better than the next! And the rates are very reasonable!
