Really bad pain in my jaw!
I have the weirdest pain.
Of course I go on webmd to diagnose myself and I am convinced I am having a heart attack. I am sure I am not, but I worry myself so much more when I do that and I cant stop!
I have a dull, ache sort of pain in my jaw. It doesnt seem to be coming from my teeth. It feels as if I was holding my mouth open for a long time (Ok..STOP THE DIRTY THOUGHTS NOW!  )...and now its just killing me. Its giving me a headache. I have tried advil and then I tried aleve. Nothing is helping.
Warm compresses seem to help when I am putting them on but the second I stop, the pain is back full force! Does anyone know what this can be?!?!? Nothing else hurts..none of my teeth seem to be bothering me..when I eat, I actually feel better. Maybe TMJ?? Any advice at all is welcomed!

maybe it's a sinus headache... inflamed sinuses can put pressure on your jaw

Sounds like TMJ. Don't chew any gum or eat chewy/crunchy foods.

Have you ever had wisdom teeth removed?
If not, it could be impacted wisdom teeth.
If so, then it could be TMJ. It is a biotch that TMJ, very painful.

Have you ever hurt it before? I broke my jaw when I was younger and ever since then it aches whenever it's damp out.
Other than that, maybe a toothache? Were you leaning on it like holding up your head? That can make it soar.
