Really bad cold-took tylenol-multiple times
Hey girls, I posted Friday about having a sore throat... now Im full on sick... sore throat, stuffy nose, headache, etc.
I took tylenol (no more than what the back of the bottle says) but I did take it like 4 times over the whole weekend.
is taking it that often ok? Is there anything else I can take?
Waiting for the Drs office to call me back.

My ob (who is also your ob!) Said I could take sudafed, robitussin or afrin nose spray when I had a bad head cold. Hope you feel better!

When I had a bad cold when I was pregnant my dr said I can take 2 extra strengths a day.

Not sure about tylenol cold, but regular tylenol is on the approved list. It's like the only drug on the approved list.

Its the only drug ont he approved list because it doesnt friggin do anything.

I've been getting massive headaches lately and I take 2 Tylenols/day. I've maybe taken Tylenol 5 times during this pregnancy. Its fine to take.

Ugh - I feel your pain. I am sick too...have been for a week already. I have NO voice. I haven't taken anything because when i went to my OB on Friday he said he thought maybe it was allergies. It is SO not allergies. I am just hoping to ride this one out.

My OB said plain tylenol is fine. I had a bad cold a couple weeks ago and my primary care doctor told me not to take anything for the cold symptoms. She said I could use saline nasal spray and a humidifier for the congestion. And cough drops are fine too. Feel better!
