what does this mean?
I saw this on someones car yesterday driving home, I was in shock!
It was on a large piece of oaktag and taped to the back window of the truck.
do you think it has something to do with the new president? a new law? or is this man just crazy?

Obama is planning on cracking down on gun laws - so there has been a run on gun stores for the past few months and more so in the past few weeks! They are one of the few businesses not suffering in this economy bc of it and some even had signs up that said: "Thanks for the business Obama!"

Gun activists think that with the Democrats controlling Congress and the White House that there will be much stricter gun control laws passed. But usually if you purchase the stuff before hand it gets grandfathered in and you can still use them at gun ranges or whatever. So they are buying up semi-autos & ammo while they can.
Anthony talks about it a lot on Opie & Anthony since he's a gun nut.
Personally I hope they have stricter laws.

I've heard this "panic" every few years for as long as I can remember.... doesn't matter who the president is, there's always someone (senator, governor, mayor, etc) threatening to take away everyone's guns (they don't actually threaten that, but the alarmists make it seem that way).
Once the panic sets in based on unfounded paranoia, people rush out and buy guns.... nothing changes except who the "bad guy who wants to take my guns away" is.....

Honestly it seems he might want a ban again on assault weapons--and I know people feel they should have the right to any gun, but I don't see the need for a regular Joe Schmoe to own an Ak-47. Handguns for personal protection, sure. Matter of fact, I'm going thru the application to get my pistol license now. But I'd be okay with them saying that automatic assault weapons couldn't be purchased by regular citizens.

I think AK-47 are already banned- those are Class C weapons - need a special Lic to buy one
but things like AR-15 are what people don't want banned- I think- I am far from an expert on this
(Yes I was dragged to a gun show- it was an eye opening experice- and I was def the only Obama supporter in the whole place)

i seriously despise O&A.
well i'd like to see the list of the guns they are referring to. i think most automatic weapons (not semi--just auto) are things I can see being banned for non military/police use. but who knows what will happen. i just find the whole "get your guns!" mentality so silly
