I was speaking w/ my boss last week & thought some of you may find this helpful!!
She turned me onto her Au Pair service that she uses and it could actually turn out to be less expensive than day care out of the home.
It's a government regulated service that offers girls from around the country the opportunity to come to the US, be trained as an Au Pair and live here for 2 years. In turn helping out American Families w/ high day care costs & giving girls from other countries an opportunities to learn out culture and language.
It actually wound up being about $2k less per year for her then regular day care!!!
I don't have any babies yet so I can't speak from experience but I'm w/ my friends girl a lot and she's GREAT!!!

Just curious how much it cost?? I know you said about $2k less but DH and I are trying to figure out what our option are before TTC..
