Random question about driving
What hand do you use to steer? I am a righty, but drive with my left hand.

Left, I am ambidexerous, but since my first 3 cars were stick I learned how to steer with my left & shift with my right

I'm lefty, but I drive with my right hand. Unless I have coffee - then i drive with the left.

Same here. It's so weird cause I can't do ANYTHING with my left hand BUT drive. I actually tuck my right hand under my thigh. So strange!

Same here. It's so weird cause I can't do ANYTHING with my left hand BUT drive. I actually tuck my right hand under my thigh. So strange!
OMG I do that too if I am not driving a stick. It's like I don't know what to do with the "loose hand"

OMG..I do the same thing w/my right hand (I'm a righty) and tuck it under my thigh...DH asks me all the time and I just tell him it feels most comfortable and warm!

I do the same thing! Otherwise, I rest my hand on my gearshift, even though my car is an automatic.

I usually use both, but I switch around a lot. Left only, Right only, "10 and 2", "9 and 3", etc. I'm not comfortable keeping my hands in one spot all the time.
