Apparently, in high school, people thought I was some sort of drug addict, drop-out type. I'm completely the opposite. I have NEVER done drugs and was actually straight edge until I was much older and I had over a 4.0 average and went to school on a scholarship.

When I was in HS I hung out with some "loose" chicks and I was always lumped into the "sluty girl group" If they only knew I was a virgin.

Of all people, my cousin went directly to my parents and made up a rumor that I had slept with my male best friend. I was upset that he would spread such a vicious lie, but heartbroken that my parents believed him.

When I first started teaching I was working at a private all girls school (gossip heaven ).
They thought I was marrying the newly hired male teacher in the dept. because they always saw us talking together
Ummm... yeah. He was engaged to someone else and our conversations consisted of... "What are you up to in Global 10?" "Do you have a WWII test?" How romantic
Oh, and that I was pg by him That would have went over well in a Catholic school.

I had a reputation in highschool for being a little loose. Which was pretty funny considering I was a virgin until after I graduated and I almost NEVER had a boyfriend during HS, I just dated a lot.

it was at my former job and around the time I first met my DH. he was living in OH then. apparently people were saying that I was going to resign to go move to OH, so my boss confronted me on it. I said umm, NO! every now and then she would ask me again "so would you move"? "what if he won't move to NY"? etc, etc.
guess what? he MOVED!

Junior High - rumor had it I was not only anorexic but bulemic.
One of my best friends (at the time) confronted me in the locker room to find out if it was true

At an old job, someone started a rumor that I was having an affair with my product manager. It got all the way to my boss and I was confronted and asked if I was. 
Turns out, the product manager was having an affair with someone else in the office who looked like me.
