Random musings about the Pt. Jeff Movie Theatre...

I was reading the overrated thread... and it mentioned Island 16... Go to Pt. Jeff Cinema's (across from the meadow club).

We went last week - $5 matinee and my mom and I both got soda's (me a small, her a medium) and a small bag of popcorn for $5.75.

And evening movies are only $8.00.

The theater's are a bit smaller, but IMO it was worth the $$ saved.

I feeel the same way about the Elwood movie theater in East Northport.

Tickets on Tuesdays are $4 The theaters are smaller but things are cheaper. It's usually packed but I find people to be more courteous there than at other theaters.
