I don't know about farmingdale, but Pequa Park Florist in Massapequa on Broadway does an amazing job for funeral arrangements. I unfortunately had to use them quite often the past few years.
They even made a specialty stand in the shape of a cowboy boot for a dear friend a few years back. They had it done the same day & were very reasonably priced.

I forgot the name but the florist that is on Merritts Ave - next to the library. LOVE that florist.

Honestly, I always call the funeral home to see what florist they deal with. They usually have a florist that they recommend and they usually guarantee getting the flowers to the funeral home same day.
