Quick help - tomorrow is DC last day at their school

(daycare). DD has been going there for about 3 years and DS almost 2 years. We are leaving because the school just doesn't work for us anymore (lots of turnover, no behavior policy, etc.) Anyway do I give the school or teachers a gift when we leave? I actually really like their current teachers. I was thinking of just sending an Edible Arrangement to the school vs. a gift for just the teachers.

What do you think? Any other ideas?

Oh and the preschool is in a separate building on the same property, so do I have to send 2?

When we pulled older DS from daycare we 'donated' a toy he loved to the room he was in. He was going through a pretty intense bus phase, so I bought the room a bus from Fisher Price that has blocks in it. I'm now told from our friends who still go there that whenever the kids play with it, they say, "This was Jack's favorite toy."

But, honestly, we did that because we LovED his teachers, room, friends, center. I know there were other kids who left and never looked back -- I think it'd be fine if you didn't do anything, either.

From the situations you have described, I would not be giving any gifts to the school itself, only the teachers if I really liked them.
