Question regarding Cowboy Boots

OK so I have had 4 pairs of lizard skin bottomed Justin Brand cowboy boots, in tip top condition since college. I have them in black, chocolate brown, bright red, and electric blue (black on top). I used to wear them all the time many moons ago. Maybe every 6-9 months, I'll take out a pair to wear under jeans. If I wear them at all, it's under jeans. Never with skirts, dresses or slacks and this is assuming I remember that I have them in my closet in their original boxes.

Now that DH and I have to clear closet space for the baby, I am faced with whether or not I want to toss them, keep them or store them. I realize that cowboy boots are not seen everyday in typical fashion, but every once in a while they come back - in and out ya know.

I suppose my question is, are they worth keeping?

totally keep them.. im on the fence on cowboys boots for this year. i really want a good pair but i dont want to spend the money if theyre not 'in' this year... but youre right, theyre constantly in and our of style.

I'd probably keep 2 of the 4 (one funky color one plain) and then reasses in a few months to see if I wore either of the 2 at all...

But I'm the wrong person to ask, every time I toss a pair of shoes, I end up 'NEEDING' them 2 months later !!!

If I had a pair of cowboy boots, which I want so bad, I would never throw them out.

I'd say keep them or at least keep the black and brown ones.

I'd keep them. I feel like they keep coming in style. I still have mine, I even wear them every once in a while with jeans. Don't toss all of them at the very least.

My first thought was to keep the brown and black pairs. Then I was thinking that red cowboy boots are pretty hot, so keep those too. Then I got to thinking about the blue pair and realized that if you are going to keep three, you might as well keep all four.

I have a pair of Justins that I got about 4 yrs ago - vintage style crackled black & white. I wear them all the time with jeans. Love them. I would keep the ones you love & make sure you give them some TLC with some leather lotion.

At the moment cowboy boots are not 'in'. We are a season ahead or behind depending on how you look at it. Personally I would keep 2 pairs, but I am not a cowboy boots wear-er.
