Question re: Wedding Gift...
If you go to a friend's wedding by yourself, do you still give the same amount that you would have given had your DH attended with you?
Just curious what others would do...

Yes, I give the amount based on my relationship with the person and what I can afford, not based on what they are paying for me to be there.

I think that I would give the same amount as she gave me!
If i gave more then she gave...i would wonder if i hurt her feelings by thinking that she gave less and she should have give more.

I think I'd give a little less if I went alone... UNLESS I had said I was coming with DH and he got sick or something and coudln't make it. In that case she had already paid for his plate so I'd give the full amount.
