Question re: toddlers who nap once a day...
DD is transitioning herself to one nap a day. She is 14 months.
What time does your DC nap? for how long? If it's around lunch time, what time do you give him/her lunch?
I'm soooo going to miss my downtime I'm not ready for this stage, but she's forcing me into.
I guess I can't complain she gives me between 10 -12 hours at night.

Alex has been taking one nap a day since around 12 months or so.
She will fall asleep anywhere between 12:30pm and 1:30pm, and will nap, usually, 1.5 hours.
I/school give her lunch at 12pm.

dd has been a one-napper sionce 6 months. Once in a blue moon, she will take 2 naps if her 1st one is a short one
Her nap is usually from 10:30-1 or so
lunch is when she wakes up

DS usually goes down around 12 or so and for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

My almost 21 month old got rid of the second nap a little while ago consistently.
I give her a snack around 11:30am, then off to bed for nap. She sleeps usually an hour, max ever, which is rare is 1.5 hours. When she wakes up she gets lunch.
I miss my 2 naps...especially with the little one around now.

then hes back in bed by 8pm

They still sometimes like their aftenoon nap, but they are slowly moving into 1 nap a day that usually starts at 10 (well really like 11 after they stop making each other laugh) and ends around 1. I give them lunch when they wake up.

DS goes down for a nap around 11:15-11:30 and will sleep anywhere from 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours. It varies. He eats when he gets up. He goes to bed around 10ish so this schedule works for me.

well she just went down at 11:40. I guess she'll have lunch when she wakes up.
I pray it lasts at least 2 hours I have to work!!!

Kaitee's nap is from 1pm-3pm (sometimes 3:30).

DS will go down for a nap between 10-11 and it usually is close to a 2 hour nap..
He also goes to bed between 6:30-7

Grace is transistioning too- although the day care provider said she still takes two naps for her
She usually has lunch around 11:30 and goes down at about 12-12:30 and naps for 2 hours.
She also gets up at 6am so that's why we lunch so early.

DD started transitioning right after her 1st bday.
She has lunch at 12pm and a few oz of milk right after. She sleeps from 1-3pm, give or take 15 minutes.

My DD cut out her 2 naps at 11mths. Now she is nearly 2 she naps from 1-2.30 / 3 or from 2-3.30/4...I usually give her a snack before she sleeps.

I'm still working this out. Lily is just transitioning now. Yesterday she slept from 12:40-3. Today she didn't go down until 2.

Jacob eats lunch between 11:30 and 12:00. He naps right after that for about 2 hours.
