Question on what to wear to my shower
I know this would be a good post for the fashion board but I figured I'd start here.
My shower is next Saturday, 04/26. I fell in love with this outfit at MiMi Maternity and bought it but the pants are white.
Would it be terrible if I wore white pants before Memorial Day?

i wore white pants to my shower and it was before memorial day! i got a ton of compliments on them. I dont think most people pay attention to that "rule" anymore! if you love the outfit, go for it!!! especially since it is so hard to find nice pregancy outfits.

Good point, thanks!
Oh and to top it off my feet are beyond swollen lately and I can't find a pair of comfortable shoes so I opted for a pair of flat fancy gold flip flops in Macy's which compliment the outfit. At first I was hesitant but as long as my feet are comfortable that's all that matters.

I think you should wear what makes you feel most comfortable so that you feel pretty and enjoy your day!! I say go for it and have a wonderful time!

I just went to Destination Maternity today and bought white linen capris for my shower on Sunday! You won't be alone in white pants!
By the time I found something that I felt didn't make me look huge I didn't care what color it was!
Have fun at your shower!

Wearing white pants before Memorial Day is fine. I am sure you will look beautiful! And going with the gold flip flops will probably be your saving grace- no miserable feet!! Have a blast!!
